Dendrobium Banana Royal: Characteristic yellow-green orchids with elongated petals and sepals. Name suggests the look of a peeled banana.

Flowering can be triggered in Dendrobium Phalaenopsis by shortening the length of the day and reducing water slightly. The length of the day could be reduced by appropriate shade nets. Extra humidity will also help flowering.

They have the ability to bloom even from the most withered and leafless stems. Hence it is worth waiting before trimming the stem.
